Wow, what a day! Yesterday I had the immense pleasure in attending a workshop with some lovely friends hosted by the inspiring Amanda Waring. Amanda is a vivacious lady with an infectious enthusiasm and warmth who campaigns for compassion as a Dignity in Care Ambassador. She took us through a journey of the practical and spiritual side with attention and kindness. It was a wonderful day and if you are a therapist or work within the NHS or in the caring industry Amandas courses are a must!

In the summer I attended a course for supporting people, either those who have been diagnosed with Cancer or, their family, friends and/or carers. Last month I attended a brilliant workshop with the London School of Reflexology. I was surprised at how relaxing it was to have gentle massage on yours hands, and there I was was practically nodding off sitting upright. The treatment is great for those who do not like their feet to be touched, injuries, amputees or bedridden, plus injuries to the hands like RSI and Carpal Tunnel. Now, I offer this as a separate treatment or combined to back up foot reflexology, contact me for more details.

I have just returned from a wonderful CPD course learning RLD, this can be used to help reduce lymphoedema after treatment for breast cancer. RLD is great for clients with other (non-cancer related) more common conditions, by stimulating the lymphatic system and draining excess lymph from the damaged area. This is done using a specific reflexology technique and is great for sufferers with Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Muscular tension, Aches and pains, Sinus problems, CFS/ME, Auto immune diseases, Migraines, Premenstrual Syndrome, Eczema, Asthma

26th August 2019
This morning is was my absolute pleasure to visit Positive Pals www.positivepals.org This is our local very friendly Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS support group and, they are doing a marvelous job!
It is hard to believe that it was nine years ago that I was going there in a completely different capacity. Today I had the opportunity to discuss reflexology and 'my journey' as it was ME that led me onto my reflexology path. I gave them lots of little tips and points on their hands that they can use to support and help manage any issues. It still amazes me after reaching rock bottom and, after trying lots of therapies that with nutrition, exercise and the holistic approach how the body has the capacity to heal.
